Welsh Eisteddfod Regalia 1906
Welsh Eisteddfod Regalia and Offices. Ceremony in the Royal National Eisteddfod takes place every summer in the first week of August, been happening for a couple of centuries since 1568. The object of an Eisteddfod, the name of which is colloquial contraction of traditional ancient title, The Session of Bards of Isle of Britain is Twofold. Offices and regalia alike are Druidical, though modern additions have been made to the bardic robes, with music, singing, poetry, literature and art taking place.
