Catesby, a renowned English naturalist, meticulously documented the diverse flora and fauna of the American South and the Bahamas during his expeditions between 1712 and 1719. The Spotted Ribbonsnake, a member of the Colubridae family, is a slender, non-venomous snake native to North and Central America. This snake is commonly found near water and is known for its distinctive pattern of alternating light and dark spots down its length.
