Private Leslie Youngs, aged 20, of the Royal Army Service Corps (RASC) Air Dispatch Service, dressed in the full kit of the service which includes battle dress, wool roll top pullover, flying suit, covered a steel " Flak" suit, parachute harness as wells the chute itself. He is also wearing wool lined flying boots, a pair of wool silk lined gloves and a steel crash helmet.
He wears this all daily while explaining how it all works to visitors at the RASC Exhibition at Harrods store in Knightsbridge, London.
