Plum, 1903. British right-handed batsman Pelham Plum Warner (1873-1963) played for Oxford University, Middlesex and England during a career lasting from 1894 until 1920. He scored 29, 028 runs with 60 centuries. His 15 Test caps included 10 matches as captain, regaining the Ashes in Australia in 1903-1904. After retiring, Warner served as Englands tour manager on the infamous Bodyline tour of Australia in 1932-1933 and later went on to become President of the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC).
