All that valuable freehold residence called Broombank, situate in Clarkehouse Lane... with the large yard, coach house, stable (for three horses), outbuildings, pleasure and kitchen gardens, and land adjoining thereto, lately in the occupation of Mr Francis newton, the deceased owner.Also, three dwelling houses, situate at the bottom of the field adjoining Broom bank, and having an approach from Park Lane, all now tenanted, and producing an annual aggregate rental of £ 66.Broombank House was erected by the late Mr Newton for his own occupation, and it is well and substantially built. It contains on the ground floor dining room, drawing room and breakfast room, kitchen, laundry and large store room. Upstairs there are seven goof bedrooms, a bathroom and water closet. There is a kitchen cellar, also two large cellars and a wine cellar and ale cellar.
